Nebraska Endorsements: Nebraska Procedures for Endorsement Objectives: The first objective is to provide a format that allows the top Nebraska players to play against each other. The second is to determine Nebraska's one quota spot into USTA/Missouri Valley Super Events in each of the three segments. The endorsement process is the primary of three routes to participation in these tournaments. The other two routes are by receiving an at-large berth from the USTA Missouri Valley into these tournaments; or by receiving a wildcard berth. (See the USTA Missouri Valley Junior Section for details.) Nebraska endorsement tournaments may use a special feed-in or compass draw format determined by the NTA Junior Competition Committee. If a player declines to accept a quota spot into the USTA Missouri Valley Super Tournaments, the player who finishes in the next place shall be given the spot.
Domicile or Residence Requirement: The following players are eligible to play in any Nebraska Endorsement or Missouri Valley Section event held in the Nebraska District:
- U.S. Citizens who are domiciled in the area under USTA Nebraska District jurisdiction;
- Aliens listed in USTA Regulation VII.A.2.a. who are domiciled in the area under USTA Nebraska District jurisdiction; (A student visa is not sufficient.) and,
- Children of members of the United States military whose family temporarily resides in the area under USTA Nebraska District jurisdiction.
Players who do not meet these requirements may play in any Futures events held in Nebraska, and any Nebraska junior tournament that is not an endorsement or USTA Missouri Valley section or national event (other than a Futures).
