We are working to serve you better! The Nebraska Tennis Association serves the Nebraska District of the USTA Missouri Valley Section. Our purpose is to promote the sport of tennis as a means of recreation, good health and sportsmanship by facilitating league programs, tournaments and other tennis-related events and activities. These programs are offered for adults, juniors, seniors, in addition to mentally or physically handicapped athletes.

10 AND UNDER WINTER JR. TEAM TENNIS IN NEBRASKA

An all-state 10 and Under Jr. Team Tennis League is forming in Nebraska.
The first Nebraska all-state Jr. Team Tennis league is forming now. Registrations are due Oct. 29. This JTT league will consist of teams of 4-6 coed players ages 7-10. Players are eligible to earn ROGY participation credits if they play 2 out of 3 duals. Teams will compete in at least 3 duals throughout the season. Read More

Bill Brown, Nebraska's first world ranked tennis player,  will be the guest speaker at the NTA Hall of Fame Awards Banquet.

DARREN EMERICK NAMED NE DISTRICT'S YOUTH TENNIS SPECIALIST

Bridgeport's Darren Emerick has been named the NE District's Youth Tennis Specialist
The USTA Missouri Valley Section has named Bridgeport's Darren Emerick as the Youth Tennis Specialist for the Nebraska District. He will be focused on developing inclusive programming for junior players including 10 & Under, Jr. Team Tennis, ROGY and junior tournaments, school-based tennis, Kids Tennis Clubs, Play Days and Festivals. JACK SOCK RETURNS TO LINCOLN

Good sportsmanship is an essential element of all junior sports and junior development. The Nebraska District's Junior Competition Committee is seeking nominations for exemplary sportsmanship.

LINCOLN RACQUET CLUB AWARDED NATIONAL GRANT

The United States Tennis Association announced, through its USTA Facility Assistance Program, that it has awarded a grant to the Lincoln Racquet Club in Lincoln, NE. The grant will be used to resurface and repair four existing tennis courts. Read More
